About Nexara
We're building the platform tracking products are made on.
Nexara is a multi-tenant, API-first operations platform for any business whose work depends on knowing where assets are and what they're doing. We started Nexara because every operator we'd worked with — fleets, BHPH dealers, SVR vendors, equipment rental shops, distributors selling whitelabel hardware — was stitching together the same five tools to do the same five things, and paying per vehicle for the privilege. It was past time someone built the engine they all needed and let them decide how much of the UI to take.
Why we exist
Tracking software has always been opinionated about what kind of operation you run. Fleet platforms ignore lot management. BHPH platforms ignore behavior scoring. SVR platforms ignore maintenance forecasting. The result is a market full of niche products that all charge per vehicle and none of which talk to each other.
We took the opposite bet: build the multi-tenant primitives once, expose every one over a single REST API, and let distributors and operators compose them into the product their market actually wants. One platform. Every vertical. No engineering team required to package it.
What we believe
API-first isn't marketing copy.
If a feature isn't reachable from the API, it doesn't exist in our platform. Our own UI is built on the same endpoints we publish to customers.
Multitenancy belongs in the core.
Tenant scope, ancestor-aware access, and feature flags per tenant aren't bolted on. They're the chassis. That's what lets distributors ship their own tiers without us in the loop.
Operators get a clean tracker.
The day-to-day people running a tow yard or a service-truck fleet shouldn't need a webinar to find the live map. The tracker is meant to feel like a tool, not a SaaS dashboard.
Hardware-agnostic by default.
Queclink, Teltonika, CalAmp — and the next decoder we add. Customers shouldn't have to re-platform every time the device market shifts.
How we build
Small team. Senior people. Decisions made close to the code. We ship continuously, talk to customers directly, and treat every support ticket as a product spec. We'd rather fix the root cause once than maintain a workaround forever.
We use the platform we sell — every distributor feature, every tracker page, every API — to operate Nexara itself. If a flow is awkward for us, it's awkward for our customers, and that's the bug.
Where we're going
More verticals where the same engine fits — equipment rental, lender ledgers, share-link based recovery workflows — without growing the surface area for the operators who don't need them. More hardware decoders so the platform stays neutral as device manufacturers rise and fall. Better automation around the parts of the operator's day that are still busywork: inventory expiry, low-stock alerts, automatic lot re-assignment, payment-aware loan ledgers.
