Legal
Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 3, 2026
1. Scope, and who is responsible for what
This policy covers two different things, and the distinction matters because it determines who is responsible for your data.
The Nexara website (nexara-technologies.com). Here Mpire Tech LLC is the controller: we decide what is collected when you fill in a form or browse the site, and this policy describes it.
The Nexara tracking platform (NexaraOS, the Nexara Tracker, the mobile tracker and the API). Here Nexara is normally a processor acting on the instructions of the business that operates the platform — a GPS distributor, fleet operator or reseller. That business decides which devices are tracked, who may see the data, and how long it is kept. If you are an end user of a tracking product operated by one of our customers, their privacy notice governs that data, and requests about it should go to them. We will assist them in responding.
The entity responsible is Mpire Tech LLC, a California limited liability company trading as Nexara Technologies — a fictitious business name registered in Riverside County, California. In this policy “Nexara”, “we” and “us” mean Mpire Tech LLC.

That address is for written legal correspondence. For a data request, email support@nexaraos.com instead — it reaches us faster and lets us verify the request.
2. What we collect on this website
When you contact us. The contact form collects your name and email address, and optionally your company, phone number, a self-selected description of what you are interested in, and your message. Company and phone are optional; the rest of the form cannot be submitted without a name, email and message.
When you start a free trial. We collect your name and email address in order to create an account and send you a verification link.
Automatically. Our servers record ordinary request information, including your IP address, the pages requested and timestamps. We store the IP address alongside form submissions as an anti-abuse measure.
Marketing attribution. If you arrive from a campaign, search engine, partner or another website, we record how you arrived — campaign tags (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign and similar), the referring website's domain, and the first page you landed on. This is described in section 4.
3. Why we use it, and on what legal basis
To respond to your enquiry and provide the service you asked for (performance of a contract, or steps taken at your request). To operate, secure and debug the site, and to prevent spam and abuse (legitimate interests). To understand which channels and pages bring people to Nexara, so we can decide where to invest (legitimate interests). To meet legal and accounting obligations where they apply.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with advertising networks or data brokers.
4. Analytics, cookies and local storage
This website currently sets no advertising or tracking cookies, and sends no analytics data to any third party. Conversion events — which button was clicked, which section was viewed — are recorded in your own browser and are not transmitted anywhere. If we later connect an analytics provider we will update this policy first, name the provider here, and implement any consent mechanism required in your jurisdiction before enabling it.
We use your browser's local storage for two functional purposes, both first-party and neither containing an identifier we could use to recognise you elsewhere:
nexara_attr_firstandnexara_attr_last— how you first found Nexara and what brought you back most recently: campaign tags, the referring domain, the landing page and a timestamp.nexara_no_track— set only if you or a member of our team has explicitly opted this browser out.
Attribution values are attached to your enquiry if you submit one, so we can tell which channels produce genuine interest. You can clear all of it at any time by clearing site data for this domain, which has no effect on how the site works.
What our analytics deliberately excludes. Our event tracking is built to drop these before anything is recorded: email addresses, names, phone numbers, passwords, tokens and API keys, message contents, device IMEIs, and geographic coordinates of any precision. We also discard advertising click identifiers (gclid, fbclid, msclkid) — we keep only which platform a click came from, never the identifier itself. This is enforced in code and covered by automated tests, not merely stated here.
We do not use session recording, heatmapping, or device fingerprinting on this website.
5. Automated evaluation of enquiries
Enquiries submitted through this site are scored automatically to help us prioritise replies. The score is derived from the contents of your message, the type of email domain and phone number you provided, and obvious spam signals. It affects only the order in which a person reviews your enquiry — it produces no automated rejection and has no legal or similarly significant effect. A human reads every genuine enquiry, and you can ask us how a score was reached.
6. Data in the tracking platform
Where our customers operate a tracking product on Nexara, the platform processes data on their behalf. That can include precise location and movement history, device identifiers such as IMEIs, ignition and power state, trip history, driver or account names, and the account structure of the operating business.
Location data is sensitive. We process it only to provide the tracking service to the customer who collected it. We do not use it for advertising, we do not sell it, and we do not include it in analytics. Retention is governed by the plan and configuration our customer chooses.
If you believe you are being tracked by a device without a lawful basis, contact us at support@nexaraos.com. We cannot unilaterally disclose or delete a customer's data, but we will identify the responsible operator and escalate to them.
7. Service providers we rely on
We keep this list short on purpose, and it is accurate as of the date above:
- Hetzner — hosting and infrastructure. Our production servers are located in the United States (Virginia).
- ngrok — secure ingress for inbound traffic to our infrastructure.
- Resend — delivery of transactional email such as enquiry notifications and account verification links.
- Cloudflare — bot protection on our forms (Turnstile), where enabled.
- OpenStreetMap — map tiles and the conversion of coordinates into readable addresses, used by the tracking platform.
We do not currently use a payment processor, an advertising platform, a customer-data platform or a session-recording tool. If that changes, this list changes with it.
8. How long we keep things
Enquiries and the sales records created from them are kept for as long as we are in contact and for a reasonable period afterwards, so we can pick up a conversation where it left off. Account records are kept for the life of the account. Server logs are kept for a short operational period. Platform data is retained according to the operating customer's plan and settings. You can ask us to delete an enquiry at any time.
9. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access a copy of your personal data, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to our use of it, take it elsewhere in a portable form, and withdraw consent where we relied on it. If you are in California, you also have the right not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights — and note again that we do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioural advertising.
To exercise any of these, email support@nexaraos.com. We will respond within the period required by applicable law. If your request concerns data held inside a customer's tracking account, we will route it to that customer as the responsible party.
10. Security
Traffic to our sites and API is encrypted in transit. Access to production systems is restricted to a small number of administrators using key-based authentication, and passwords are not accepted for server access. We aim to collect as little personal data as the product allows, which is the most reliable protection available.
We make no certification claims in this policy. If you need specific compliance documentation for a procurement process, ask us and we will tell you honestly what we do and do not yet have.
11. International transfers
Our infrastructure is in the United States. If you contact us from outside the United States, your data will be transferred there. We rely on appropriate safeguards for such transfers where the law requires them.
12. Children
Nexara is a business product and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 16 through this website. If you believe we have, contact us and we will delete it.
13. Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle personal data — in particular if we connect an analytics provider or add a service provider — we will update this page and move the date at the top. Material changes will be announced to account holders by email.
14. Contact
